ACT UP Alum's First Music Video

Nice news comes from a friend of mine from the ACT UP and Treatment Action Group days. Dudley Saunders is a singer and writer whose music was described by one reviewer this way: "think Jeff Buckley meets Joni Mitchell."

His first music video is about addiction and recovery (a subject I can certainly relate to), and is called The Undoing (Every Day). Check it out...

Dudley also has a great website -- dudleysaunders.com -- with more info about his life and work, samples of his music, and an expressive blog.

I saw him perform last year at the Hotel Fauchere in Milford, PA, and thoroughly enjoyed it. So here's my shout out to Dudley -- it was great seeing you after all these years. You looked great. Congrats on the new music video!

How about blogging about Hiv issues and Aids...last time I checked this was'nt a gay eqaulity blog...My views are not as radical as the ones that others left in your comments,I do not appreciate anyone speaking for me...so people guess what?..it's a free country and freedom of speach is an ammendment so get over the fact that not everyone is going to agree with you and/or what you are doing...Peter,it is pretty clear in the Bible about Homosexuality, but I am sure you could find a gay "minister" or lesbian "preacher" to tell you differently...The problem is that I am not attacking you,I am voicing my opinion, and an opinion is all it is...you blog about what you want to blog about and I comment when I have something to say.I support a lot of the same things you support I am sure, but I am also sure we do not agree on some things...Take care.
