Jenna Bush, that is. Our 47th President and the current daughter of President George W. Bush.
(44th is President Hillary Clinton, 45th President Jeb Bush and/or Vice President George P. Bush, 46th President Chelsea Clinton and, finally, President Jenna at 47.)
In her new book, Ana's Story, Jenna writes about about a young mother with HIV, and she advocates for condom use as a means to prevent the spread of the virus. It's a proven method– one I vouch for personally– that doesn't get federal funding or much support in this country because condoms make adults/parents in power squimish.
I hope Jenna continues to advocate for this, because the daughters and sons of presidents have a platform to speak from that many of us don't.
You go, Bush girl.
