While on the campaign trail in Virginia, Sen. Obama delivered one of his canned lines about the Republican ticket. "You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig."
McCain's newly appointed damage/mind control operative, former Mass. Governor Jane Swift, swiftboated the vice presidential candidate, referred to the phrase, saying the words were "...disgusting comments, comparing our vice presidential nominee, Sarah Palin, to a pig."
Gee, Jane, tell us what you really think of Sarah Palin?
What is disgusting is the McCain campaign's new political attack ad. They are saying Obama voted for comprehensive sex education for kindergarteners. Does the McCain campaign really want to go there? Mr. "I'm Not Sure if Condoms Prevent the Spread of HIV"?
And will Jane Swiftboat be held accountable for calling Palin a pig? The woman just had a child in April, for God's sake. I think she's in fine shape, and even if she weren't we just don't go there. I just think the former Governor is jealous that she was overlooked in favor of Palin.
Positively Yours,
Shawn

Hello Shawn
First of all I have a lot of respect for you because of your life accomplishments while dealing with a sh@#$$% hand of cards. Obama has touched on hiv and Aids but I am concerned that a lot of people in the blogs are voting for him solely for this reason...You all do understand that sarah palin on the republican side has more political experience than Obama and she is not even running for the presidency,I am very concerned at the number of people willing to overlook Mr Obama's lack of experience because he recites a planned and rehearsed speach with a few comments in it that they like. Of coarse you are going to like what a presedential nominee says they both have 10 different people payed to make that happen. If your wife was to become pregnant in some way by you(hypothetically) would you use an obgyn for her prenatal care because they had a great presence and personality and agreed with you on some important issues or would you seriously look for some experience and know how? I am not a republican and I am not a woman. I am a guy who personally has never seen 2 more horrible choices for presedential nominees on either side. McCain is old as hell and has issues, Obama lacks experience in federal politics and his background( not his race) scares the hell out of me. I am at this point still undecided as too whom will recieve my vote. I just wanted to voice my opinion to you because I have inadvertantly been following your blog for over a year now and sort of feel like I know you a little.
