I think it was very great of Joseph Beam to do the things that He did not just for the LGT community but also for the Black Community. I believe Joseph help break a many barriers and stigma associated with being Black and Gay tackling Health Issues that are not usually discussed within the Black Family. I have a copy of the writings Brother To Brother and have really enjoyed reading it over and over numerous times. I am happy to have discovered this legacy that Joseph Beam left and to learn about what he did for the Black Community and Gay Community as an Advocate.
