Thanks for highlighting what was the real takeaway from this segment for me: the crushing stigma that is still prevalent, even among our own (i.e. gay) communities. While long term survivors like myself must keep telling our story, I hold younger (and in many ways more vulnerable) advocates such as Guy in special esteem. They have courage in the face of a kind of scorn that I never endured.
