Thanks for the good read. I knew I made my own prison. I even had a warden (my brother)!!! Now I'm trying to break out, but feelings are going to get hurt. Probably mine!! Which is nothing new. Your article has made me think. Would I be better off alone. Later, Tom

Excellent article! The ego . . . Oh yes! So true! I wonder where all the hundreds of pieces of clothes I have bought throughout my life are now? You are so right, Ms. Lewis-Thornton. We should strive to cultivate our inner qualities and potential rather than put on a masquerade to please everybody around us and play to their tunes. Real happiness is what we are and what we become through our personal, intellectual and professional achievements, not what others make or think out of us.
