Angry? Of course I am ! We seem to be simply making money devices drug companies use to make money with...from there,no interest at all,in stopping the wicked game. But, too, it's the human mind the main problem. I have contacted maybe a dozen of Hiv+ guys, in order to share friendship, communication, maybe maybe maybe...more... and none of them turned to be polite or even kind. They behave very bad, they were rude ,some not even answered my friend request , they were interested in sex only-may I call them sex OBSESSED?-I think so --,then, if Hiv+ people behaves bad with Hiv* people, from where could we start or restart ? Being rude leads to what ? I do not understand why men with Hiv are so depressed, while in the world a lot of sickness is daily spread...and the 90% of it is even worse than AIDS...We have to face rejection, racism, etc etc etc...we should start considering the poor use of the human brain that many do..a talking donkey cannot really offend me, it's simply espressing itself...each animal with ts natural verse, humans speak, dogs bark...Some consider me a wreck? I have to definitely consider them idiots..maybe they have a brain, somewhere...but in the next future they too will have to face sickness and diseases, they mind will change. At the moment we have something to share ONLY with our similar affected foes, let'd be polite with one another, then... just a last thing to tell...I'm Italian, living in Italy..here you have to keep SECRET your HIV state. Don't believe the fake ideas of fredoom broadcasted on the Internet and by media, they only tell lies to make things appear much better then they are. Here you have to face rejection at a high level, when even doctors at the hospital despise Hiv+ people, and gossiping is people's favourite sport...so, don't complain too much, thanks.

I am angry, however through out life I have come to learn that anger only weekens you. I agree something has to be done and it should of been yesterday. I have been POZ since the early 80's I am thanksful I am still here along with other survivors which there are more and more everyday. I think it is time we also thought of someone else. The more you give the more you are bless and all the more that returns to you. The Starvation in Samolia is the most heartbreaking thing in the world right now to me. We, but by the Grace of God could of been born there. Those Children and people need our help. Gerry Owens Columbus, Georgia

What is the motivation to end AIDS when there is so much money being made? Obviously as an AIDS patient I am grateful for the meds and remember those harrowing years of impending death. Yet that is still the case for those who are not able to pay, no matter where you are in the world.

Rick for PA

Yes I think it's time for a cure also. I really don't see that happening until the drug companies aren't making so much profit from us any more. Rick

I hear you...Kids these days even think they are somehow immune. They think they are't at risk unless they are gay. Still the same old stigma. I'm now 50 and started treatment with AZT in 1990. Twenty years on and I'm the only one left alive from my Tuesday night support group of 42 people. I met and married my partner through the group and buried him in 2002. So here I sit every day feeling like a "science experiment". I could fill pages with my grief and complaints but, it wouldn't do any good. I'm left barely able to walk, Cognitive problems and a host of other ailments including heart problems several minor strokes and emphysema !!! Whoo-Hoo !!!Yes, I'm angry ! and frustrated and lost and confused. I've been told I'd be dead by morning more times now than I can count but, at least twice or three times a year comes to around 40 or 50 times...I'm EXHAUSTED !!! I know, I know; I should be more grateful. I get it, I do. There are hundreds who DESERVE to be here instead of me...I don't know what else to add except that I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. I am taking up space and wasting oxygen at this point. My accolades to those who can keep on fighting without giving in or up to this F**king disease. I'm angry that all my friends are dead. I'm angry that my husband left me. I'm angry at those F**king people who think AIDS is over !!! It is ? Nobody told me ?!?!? As theraputic as venting my frustrations...It wears me out and just makes me f**king angry all over again. Don't be like me...Take good care of yourself, At least you know your needed and people want to read your blog. Keep up the good fight, At least You have a positive influence people. Probably more people than you know. Thanks for letting me vent !!! Now get your head into it and help people...Are you getting the help YOU need ? make sure and make some time for yourself. and keep up the good work. Patrick

I am angry David. My feelings of frustration mirror yours. I'm tired of reading "disease-free" in the personal ads. I'm weary from feeling the sting every time some one at a party or at a bar makes a comment like "he probably has aids." I want to forget about it but every night I have to take the "reminder." How do you date someone new with HIV and Hep C? I was prepared to die in 2001 but the cocktails came out and I haven't been able to relearn how to reset my paradigm. I'm happy I got a chance to read your contributions to this blog. Much happiness. Mike P.S. - Your dogs sound great.
